LEAGUE WIDE ANALYSIS
Highest Score: Andrew (160.90)
Lowest Score: Anthony (86.20)
Closest Matchup: Charles (86.74) beat Steve (86.48) by 0.26 points.
Top Player Score: Jonathan Taylor scored 46.6 points for Andrew
Matchup 1: Keith (107.84) vs. Anthony (86.20)
A decisive win over Anthony puts Keith at the top of the standings with a 7-3. We all can’t wait to meet baby Kyren Bonchick, or baby TreyVon Bonchick depending on if we’re counting the highest bench score for this kids name
- Baker Mayfield and TreyVon Henderson could have won Anthony the matchup if they’d both been started.
- Four of Keith’s twelve running backs scored more than 12 points
- Anthony is leading the league in Points Against with 1130.74 on the season through 10 games, which is an average of 113.07 per game. Math!
Matchup 2: Billy (105.14) vs. Andy (94.10)
Billy finally gets his first win of the season after “streaming” every single position on his team since week three. After ousting Mike from first place Andy reminds us all that this game is absurd by dropping his next game to the last place team. Classic TFL style gamesmanship on display!
- Despite his loss, Andy had the highest scoring WR of the week with Drake London’s 18.4 points
- Bo Nix, from Andy’s team, was the biggest underperformance of the week - scoring 12.4 points under his projection
- Billy’s first win comes from 105.14 points, but he’s scored higher than that 3 other times this season without a victory
Matchup 3: Charles (86.74) vs. Steve (86.48)
In a shocking display of aggression, not only does Charles beat Steve, but then he also tries to usurp his position as league nice-guy by actually telling him “Sorry” for beating him. What the fuck is wrong with you people?
- This was the narrowest margin of the week with only .28 points separating the final scores
- The injury to Steve’s WR Garett Wilson resulted in 0 points, he’d have won the matchup even with just the 1.9 points scored by Keenan Allen who was on his bench
- Steve had the highest scoring TE with 18.4 points from Trey McBride
Matchup 4: Andrew (160.9) vs. Patrick (124.42)
Andrew was an unstoppable force this week, blowing Pat out of the water despite a commendable performance. His 160.9 points is the highest score of any team this season, blasting past Mike’s 142 points in week four. Is this because he finally dropped Chubb?
- Pat’s 124.42 points would have been enough to beat any other team this week
- Ignoring the flex position, Andrew and Pat had the highest scoring RB tandems in the league combining for 81.1 and for 48.9 respectively
- This matchup had the highest combined score for kickers with an absurd 28 points between the two teams
Matchup 5: Greg (121.30) vs. Mike (97.50)
The leagues only manager with a history of military service gets a Veteran’s Day win and jumps up to 3rd place We salute you! Meanwhile, Mike’s gig line is crooked and he is wearing his cover indoors. Two demerits!
- This matchup had two of the highest scoring players by position for the week - Greg’s QB (Stafford, 34.9) and Mike’s Defense (Seattle, 28) were the highest for their respective positions
- It also had the two worst tight end performances of the week, combining for a total of 4 points
- Mike’s 1150.55 points scored for the season is the highest in the league, however he also has the second highest points scored against in the league at 1117.64
