Mike’s dominant 140 point performance brings him back into first place as Steve slips with his worst outing of the season
LEAGUE-WIDE SUMMARY
Highest Score: Greg (140.52)
Lowest Score: Steve (64.52)
Largest Margin of Victory: 49.16 (Andy over Steve, 113.68–64.52)
Smallest Margin of Victory: 2.32 (Keith over Patrick, 105.28–102.96)
Top Individual Performer: Jonathan Taylor (35.40) for Andrew
Keith (105.28) vs. Patrick (102.96)
This matchup all came down to Monday night, with both teams hoping for fireworks from their Kansas City players. Instead, their guys fizzled out like a forgotten can of Keith’s beloved soda, leaving a flat chemical aftertaste in everyone’s mouth.
- It’s Hall Good: Breece Hall erupted for 32.86 in Keith’s lineup, dwarfing Patrick’s RB outputs and directly accounting for most of the 2.32-point final margin.
- TE Hee Hee: Patrick won the TE battle by 19.60 points (Kraft 26.30 vs. Keith’s Henry 6.70), partially offsetting the RB gap but not enough to close the game.
- Tossers: Patrick’s Jalen Hurts led all QBs in this matchup with 33.36, toping Keith’s star Josh Allen for a significant QB advantage
- Top Shelf Stuff: Hall’s 32.86 and Kraft’s 26.30 were both top‑5 positional scores across all starters this week in your league, landing in the true “spike” category.
Mike (140.86) vs. Billy (108.00)
For the second week in a row, Billy put up a respectable performance but was left at the bar dahntahn to cry into his pint of Iron City. In the Pixburgh Bowl it was all Mike, and shockingly, not many players from the Steelers. It was this jagoffs second highest scoring game of the season and it’s propelled Mike back into first place.
- Lotsa Points or N’at?: Mike’s Patrick Mahomes (30.96) and James Cook (33.60) combined for 64.56, accounting for more than 45 of his total points in the matchup
- Catch da Ball: Rashee Rice added a clean 18.20, giving Mike three different positions over 18 points
- Not Worshed Up Kickers: Billy’s Chris Boswell fired 20.00—the top kicker score in the week, but was closely pursued by Mike’s freakishly high kicker score from Chase McLaughlin who scored 17
- Dahminance: Mike’s huge win puts him back in first place with multiple teams at 5-3 but a commanding 90+ lead in Total Points Scored, 977.06 points to date. The next closest is Andrew a game behind him in the W/L column but with 883.26 points scored
Charles (92.46) vs. Anthony (75.18)
They’re both in the bottom third of the standings, and this game didn’t help to make it look like they belong higher up. But there’s still plenty of time in this season where parity reigns! I have some suggestions, like not scoring negative points on Defense (Anthony) and starting a flex player that gives more than 3 points (Charles). In the words of John Madden “If either of these teams want to win they’ll need to score some points”.
- Low Point: This matchup had the lowest combined score of the week, with the two teams bringing in just 167.64 points
- RB/WR Edge: Charles’ combined RB/WR production outpaced Anthony’s by a comfortable margin, supplying most of the 17.28 differential in the absence of any 25+ spikes.
- QB Drop: Anthony’s disappointing QB performance from Baker Mayfield might have been the biggest dud in a week where he had numerous letdowns. Mayfield scored 4.08 points against a projected 20.74, a swing that that could almost have negated the final point differential.
- Sad Sack: With his second straight loss, Anthony has dropped to 3-5, the only team aside from Billy that isn’t at .500 or better in the standings.
Andy (113.68) vs. Steve (64.52)
The only thing to talk about in this matchup is Steve’s epic flame-out. His previous lowest score this season was 97.54 points. Andy continues in the bottom of the league for total points scored but is working some sort of bad-game ju-ju against his opponents to keep himself going with a 5-3 win record. In all fairness, this is his second straight game of more than 110 points, a significant step up from his season average score through the first 6 weeks.
- Defensive Nuke: Tampa Bay DEF’s 30 was the single largest Defensive total across all teams this week and by itself outscored multiple entire position groups on Steve’s roster.
- Big Edge: Andy supplemented the DEF bomb with several positive contributors across RB/WR, producing the week’s largest team margin at +49.16.
- QB Comfort: Andy’s QB outpaced Steve’s QB materially, compounding the deficit from support positions and eliminating comeback paths by Sunday evening.
- Depth Charge: Andy could have done even more damage, with Drake London scoring zero points in his starting lineup and three WR on his bench that all scored more than 10 points..
Greg (140.52) vs. Andrew (124.62)
It seems like Andrew is the Bizzaro Andy. Where Andy scores small but still wins, Andrew scores big but still loses. But let’s not sell Greg short, he had a great week and has now leapt up to fourth place. A victory that must taste as sweet as a deep fried oreo covered in powdered sugar, straight out of Greg’s tailgate fryer setup.
- Oh, There He Is: After numerous weeks of middling performance Saquon Barkley finally had a huge game and posted 29.40 for Greg, one of the week’s top three RB outputs
- Kaboom: This game had the weekly slate’s highest combined game total (265.14).
- And a WR for Good Measure: Ladd McConkey added 14.80 for Greg, giving him the highest score from a WR in the matchup
- Evenflow: Andrew cleared 120 points with balanced attack, with his only major disappoint in the underperformance of his quarterback, Dak Prescott with 8.62 points against a projection of 19.87
